Mallow to host English Wine Week dinner with plant-based menu and local wine pairings

Plant-based restaurant mallow, located in Canary Wharf, will host a special wine pairing dinner on Wednesday, 25th June 2025, in celebration of English Wine Week. The evening aims to spotlight English-produced wines, with pairings from Artelium Vineyards and Roebuck Estates, and will feature a four-course plant-based menu.
The dinner forms part of English Wine Week, an annual event designed to raise awareness of English wines and the country’s growing viticulture industry. mallow, which is known for its sustainable and seasonal plant-based cuisine, will offer four dishes from its new summer menu, each matched with a different English wine.
The menu will begin with olives and pickles, paired with Roebuck Estates Classic Cuvée 2018, refreshing and refined with toasty brioche, apple and citrus. The first course features escalivada of roast romano peppers, aubergine, onion, kalamata olives, and paprika oil, served with Wildfarmed sourdough, accompanied by Artelium Chardonnay 2022, noted for its elegant, bright citrus with hints of tropical mango & pineapple.
The main course consists of wild mushroom ravioli with leek fricassee, sage butter, and pink peppercorn, served alongside a rocket and blistered grape salad. This is paired with Artelium Pinot Noir 2023, juicy and aromatic, with notes of bramble and damson fruits. Dessert will be pistachio pandan tres leches, matched with Roebuck Estates Rosé de Noirs 2018, delicate and fragrant, red berries and warm summer evenings.
Tickets for the event are priced at £60 per person, inclusive of all food and four glasses of wine.
Mallow is operated by the team behind Mildreds and has locations in Borough Market and Canary Wharf. The restaurant emphasises sustainability and sources ingredients from small suppliers such as Wildfarmed and Honest Toil. The event is intended to support local producers and showcase the diversity of English wines alongside plant-based cuisine.
