Shoreditch’s new Eden Lounge offers free drinks for opening week – with a secret password

A new restaurant and social space, Eden Lounge by Sinners, is opening its doors on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, London, with a week-long promotion offering free cocktails or mocktails to visitors who use a secret password. The offer runs from Wednesday, 30th July through Tuesday 5th August. To receive the complimentary drink, customers must say the phrase “Heaven or Hell” upon arrival at the bar or when seated at a table. The promotion is limited to one drink per person and is available only during the specified dates.
Eden Lounge is set to be an all-day destination combining a restaurant, café, coworking and social space. Located at 78 Great Eastern Street, the venue features a botanical-themed interior, with natural light, greenery, and a layout designed to accommodate both work and relaxation. Facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi and multiple power outlets, aiming to appeal to freelancers and remote workers.
The drinks menu includes a selection of signature cocktails such as Eve’s Delight – a mix of Belvedere vodka, lemon juice, rose syrup, lychee juice and egg white, garnished with an edible flower; Serpent’s Touch – dark rum and ginger beer over ice with fresh lime; and Forbidden Fizz – champagne with apple and pear liqueur. For those looking for non-alcoholic drinks, options include the Virgin Paloma, a grapefruit-based mocktail with lime and agave, and the Berry Basil Smash, combining berries, basil and cranberry juice.
The food offering, in line with the overall style, will be an all-day menu, catering to brunch through to late-night dining, with a focus on bold flavours and affordability. While the venue is positioning itself as both a dining and coworking space, the opening promotion is clearly aimed at generating interest and footfall in the competitive Shoreditch hospitality scene. The use of a password-based offer adds an element of novelty and exclusivity to the launch.
