Laki Kane to bring immersive tiki bar and late-night club to Oxford Street this month

Laki Kane, the immersive tropical bar brand founded by former Mahiki Global creative manager Georgi Radev, will open a new venue on Oxford Street later this month. The move comes as part of a partnership with The Breakfast Group, and will see Laki Kane take over the site currently occupied by Burlock Rum Bar. There will be late-night drinking and dancing, with a 3am licence, aiming to attract both existing fans and a wider West End audience.

The news marks a significant step for Laki Kane, which has become known for its transportive interiors, rum-focused cocktails and interactive guest experiences. The Oxford Street location will introduce a club-focused atmosphere, including a dancefloor, as well as offering a Caribbean-inspired food menu created in collaboration with celebrity chef Collin Brown. The food is designed to complement the bar’s extensive rum programme and will feature dishes such as Rum BBQ Wings with June Plum and Lime, Jerk Chicken with Sweet and Sour Miso, Salt Fish Fritters with Mango Chilli and the signature Laki Chicken Burger.

In addition to its food and drink offerings, Laki Kane Oxford Street will programme a range of events, including a Spirit of Tiki brunch, rum tastings, rum-making workshops and cocktail masterclasses inspired by Radev’s book, Let’s Get Tropical. The brand is known for its theatrical cocktail presentations and focus on experiential guest engagement, and this new venue will be no exception.
