Martin Miller’s Gin launches limited-edition bramble cocktail menu at 1864 Rooftop Bar & Terrace

Martin Miller’s Gin has introduced a limited-edition trio of seasonal bramble cocktails at the 1864 Rooftop Bar & Terrace in central London. The new drinks menu, available from now until October, is part of a summer initiative to offer guests a botanical-inspired experience in a setting overlooking the capital’s skyline. The rooftop venue, located on the sixth floor of the John Lewis department store on Oxford Street, has been transformed into a garden-themed space that reflects the botanicals used in the gin itself.
The three cocktails – Lychee Bramble, Gooseberry and Blackcurrant Bramble and Raspberry and Mint Bramble – feature the English gin as their base spirit, combined with ingredients such as fruit purées, liqueurs and lemon juice. Each priced at £14, the drinks are designed to offer a seasonal alternative to more typical summer cocktails such as the spritz.
1864 Rooftop Bar & Terrace, open daily from noon until 10pm (9pm on Sundays), has been decorated with plants and herbs including juniper, coriander, cassia bark and Florentine iris – botanicals that are also key components of Martin Miller’s Gin. The setting aims to provide what organisers describe as a “multi-sensory experience”, with the scent of the plants intended to complement the flavours in the cocktails.
The spirits brand, established in 1999, is known for its production method that includes blending English-distilled gin with Icelandic spring water. They say the process results in a “crisp, clean gin with a delicate balance of citrus and juniper”. To mark the launch, Martin Miller’s will host a private rooftop event at the bar on 22nd July at 6.30 pm, and is in addition running a competition titled Door to Iceland, offering the chance to win a trip to Iceland (participants can enter via the company’s Instagram page, with entries closing on 27th July).
