Nazka by Buddha-Bar brings Latin American and Moroccan fusion cuisine to Agadir coast

Nazka by Buddha-Bar, a new restaurant blending Latin American and Moroccan culinary influences, has opened this August at luxury hotel The View Agadir, located on Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast. The launch marks the latest addition to the Buddha-Bar brand’s international portfolio and aims to offer a coastal dining experience that reflects the region’s growing appeal as a year-round travel destination.

Situated in Agadir, a city of warm weather and seaside resorts, Nazka introduces a menu that draws from Latin American street food traditions while incorporating local Moroccan ingredients. The restaurant is positioned as a permanent venue, with both lunch and dinner service available in an outdoor setting that takes advantage of the area’s consistently sunny weather.

The menu features a selection of ceviches inspired by street markets, as well as dishes such as gremolatas made with Moroccan citrus. The cocktail list includes drinks that highlight flavours from across Latin America. According to the restaurant’s team, the concept is intended to reflect a fusion of culinary cultures, with an emphasis on fresh, flavourful ingredients.

The Buddha-Bar brand, originally founded in Paris in 1996, specialises in a distinctive blend of Asian fusion cuisine, music and design. Over the years, it has expanded to include eateries, lounges and hotels in various international locations. The opening of Nazka in Agadir represents a shift in the brand’s culinary direction, with a focus on Latin American flavours rather than its traditional pan-Asian offerings. The restaurant is now open to both hotel guests and external visitors, with reservations recommended for evening dining.
