The Campaner partners with Gin Mare to bring Mediterranean-inspired dining to Chelsea this summer

The Campaner in Chelsea, in partnership with Spanish gin brand Gin Mare, has launched a limited-time Mediterranean-inspired dining experience this summer. Taking place at the restaurant, the event offers a bespoke three-course set menu created by The Campaner’s kitchen and designed to highlight Mediterranean flavours through seasonal British ingredients, combining Catalonian culinary traditions with the botanical profile of Gin Mare.

The offering begins with a nod to the Spanish tradition of the First Tapa – a small appetiser served with a drink. Diners are offered canapés such as Oysters with Citrus, Rosemary and Black Pepper Vinaigrette, followed by a cold starter of Fennel Salad with Red Chicory, Orange Segments and Manchego Cheese. The main course features Black Rice with Cuttlefish, Salicornia Aioli and Crispy Artichoke Chips, and for dessert, guests are served a Dirty Maretini – a lemon and basil sorbet with nut crumble.

The dishes are designed to complement Gin Mare’s flavour profile, which includes botanicals such as rosemary, thyme, basil and Arbequina olive, with a final product that includes notes of coriander, juniper, cardamom and citrus fruits from Seville and Valencia. It is produced using traditional regional techniques in a a custom-made still housed in an 18th century chapel located in a former fishing village near Barcelona. According to the brand, the spirit is “the first gin to capture the Mediterranean lifestyle in a bottle”.

Bookings for the collaborative menu are now open, with prices starting at £25.
