Dalloway Terrace unveils floral Rosé Spritz installation and celebrates Mrs Dalloway centenary with new cocktails
Dalloway Terrace has just unveiled a new seasonal installation in collaboration with Mirabeau and Fever-Tree, transforming its outdoor dining space with a floral theme inspired by the Rosé Spritz. The installation, which will remain in place through the early autumn, is made of a design of pink roses, peach tones and green foliage. The update coincides with the centenary celebration of Virginia Woolf’s novel Mrs Dalloway, a theme that has informed several of the venue’s recent events and offerings.
Located at The Bloomsbury hotel on Great Russell Street, Dalloway Terrace is known for its changing seasonal décor and alfresco dining. The latest installation draws on the character Clarissa Dalloway’s fondness for flowers and incorporates elements inspired by the tasting notes of the new Mirabeau x Fever-Tree Rosé Spritz.
The featured drink – served on ice – is a blend of two-thirds Mirabeau IGP Rosé and one-third Fever-Tree Raspberry and Orange Blossom Soda. The Rosé Spritz forms the base of three new cocktails designed exclusively for the terrace. These include the Rosé Lumière, made with orange liqueur and blood orange sorbet; Riviera Twist, which combines the spritz with Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin and a Midi Apéritifs blend; and Jardin de Rosé, a mint- and citrus-infused cocktail with hedgerow and rose shrub. Each cocktail is priced at £17.
Throughout August, the terrace is also offering a Rosé Spritz-themed afternoon tea. Guests can receive 25% off the standard price and a complimentary glass of the featured drink, or a full bottle for tables of four. The menu includes items such as coronation chicken on turmeric bread, devilled egg mayonnaise with sautéed shallots, and sweet selections like strawberry, elderflower and lemon tart. Prices start at £41.25 per person.
As part of its ongoing tribute to Woolf’s work, Dalloway Terrace will host an event on Tuesday, 23rd of September titled In Conversation with Emma Woolf. The author and broadcaster, who is also Virginia Woolf’s great-niece, will discuss the legacy of Mrs Dalloway and the cultural impact of the Bloomsbury Group. Tickets for the evening are £20 and include a glass of sparkling wine.
