José Pizarro to host exclusive Ibérico ham dinner with Cinco Jotas at Lolo in London

Renowned Spanish chef José Pizarro will host a one-off collaborative dinner with premium Ibérico ham producer Cinco Jotas on 15th September at his latest London restaurant, Lolo in Bermondsey. The event aims to showcase the versatility and quality of jamón Ibérico through a specially curated menu.
Pizarro’s signature homestyle Spanish cooking will come together with produce from Cinco Jotas, who specialised in 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham in Spain since 1879. The producer has gained international recognition, with its products featured at events such as the Oscars, the BAFTAs and the World’s 50 Best Restaurant Awards. For the special evening at Lolo, the menu includes a variety of dishes centred around Ibérico pork, with highlights including 5J Ibérico Pork Ribs (prepared using a recipe from Pizarro’s mother), Ibérico Pork Cheeks in Almond Sauce Topped with Crisps and a Carpaccio of Ibérico Pork with Payoyo Cheese and Pomegranate. The dinner will also feature Pan con Tomate Verde and Clams with Caviar Riofrío, the latter being notable as the world’s first organic caviar, produced in Granada, Spain.
While the event is being positioned as a celebration of Spanish gastronomy, it also serves to underscore the growing collaboration between top chefs and heritage food producers. Pizarro, who has become a prominent figure in the UK’s Spanish culinary scene, is known for his emphasis on traditional flavours and high-quality ingredients, and this dinner at Lolo represents a continuation of this philosophy.
