Competition: Win a pair of tickets to see The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind in the West End

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind is a bold and uplifting new musical heading to the West End, telling the extraordinary true story of William Kamkwamba – a 13-year-old boy in drought-stricken Malawi who dared to dream of saving his village. Armed with little more than scraps of old machinery, a handful of library books, and an unshakeable determination, William sets out to build a windmill and bring energy, life, and hope to his community against seemingly impossible odds.

Based on the international best-selling book and adapted from Chiwetel Ejiofor’s acclaimed 2019 film – with Ejiofor on board as Executive Producer – this powerful production transfers directly from Stratford-upon-Avon to @sohoplace, directed by the acclaimed Lynette Linton. A celebration of human ingenuity and the courage to dream, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind runs for a limited season from 29th April to 18th July 2026.
