RuPaul and Drag Race stars board camp comedy Stop! That! Train! for August cinema release

A cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race stars will bring camp chaos to the big screen when Stop! That! Train! arrives in UK and Ireland cinemas on 21st August.
Directed by Hairspray filmmaker Adam Shankman, the comedy follows best friends and train stewardesses Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), who swap the drudgery of the Stank Rail for the glamorous Glamazonian Express. Their dream job is soon thrown off the rails, however, when a catastrophic “Stormaganza” sends the high-speed train hurtling towards Celebration, Florida, forcing crew members from rival classes to work together to avert disaster.
RuPaul stars as President Gagwell, leading an ensemble that also includes Drag Race favourites Brooke Lynn Hytes, Symone and Marcia Marcia Marcia, alongside comedians and actors Matt Rogers, Chris Parnell, Joel McHale, Jerry O’Connell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Rachel Bloom, Nicole Richie, Missi Pyle, Michelle Visage, Lisa Rinna and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Written by Christina Friel and Connor Wright, the film is produced by RuPaul alongside Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and Shankman, bringing together an expansive comedy cast for a knowingly over-the-top disaster movie packed with drag, musical flair and tongue-in-cheek humour.
