Wearing lenses just got so much cooler with Transitions Optical and Eye Respect Eyewear!

Wearing glasses might be the hip thing to do these days, but Transitions Optical just made wearing lenses cool again, with the launch of a brand new frame partnership.

The popular eye brand has teamed up with Eye Respect Eyewear – a brand that designs in England and manufactures their products in Italy. The idea behind the label was born out of a passion for English and Italian culture; the effortlessness of style and craftsmanship which came from the history of these areas of the world. All designs are created in London and then transformed into amazing eyewear in a family-owned workshop in Italy, where each frame goes through more than 60 craft stages.

As world leaders in photochromic technology, Transitions Optical create lenses using advanced patented technology. Their lenses adjust their tint to the level of light outdoors, becoming dark as sunglasses in bright sunlight and constantly optimising the amount of light to make them easy to wear and reduce eye fatigue. Might sound a little boring to you, but their amazing creations in the eyewear world mean you now no longer have to carry around two pairs of glasses in your handbag. Pretty good, right?

To celebrate the partnership between these two leading eyewear specialists, Transitions Optical have launched a brand new colour to add to its signature lens collection. “Graphite Green”, a new sunglasses colour, was originally developed in the 1950s and the brand has now re-developed it to create an enhanced colour and contrast experience. Adding a more stylish and contemporary feel to their lens family, the new colour is fashionable, and perfect for lazy summer days in the sunshine this August.
