The Girl with All the Gifts is a dystopian tale set in a future where humanity is infected by a mutated fungal disease that eradicates free-will and turns its victims into flesh-eating “hungries”.

A little girl, Melanie, is one of a small group of children immune to the effects, and when the military base where she is kept falls, she must find out who she really is. The Girl with All the Gifts features an all-star cast, with Glenn Close, Gemma Arterton and Paddy Considine bringing director Colm McCarthy’s blighted Britain to life, along with newcomer Sennia Nanua.

The Upcoming spoke to the cast and crew at the London special screening in Leicester square.
