Contemporary Levantine cuisine comes to South Kensington

Levantine restaurant Ceru is to launch its first permanent site on South Kensington’s Bute Street later this month, following successful pop-ups across various London sites. Barry and Patricia Hilton, the husband and wife team behind the scenes, have earned a following thanks to contemporary cooking inspired by the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean coast and by their extensive travels to the region.

This new site will be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a menu offering classic mezze dishes, alongside grilled meats, salads and desserts. Diners can expect to find signature dishes like slow-cooked lamb shoulder and lamb kebabs, and refreshing salads and dips as well. On the drinks side of things, there will be plenty of Levantine wines to choose from, with bottles from Greek, Turkish and Lebanese vineyards, as well as home-brewed pale ales and cocktails.

For those on the go, an express lunch platter will be on offer, which will include a selection of dips, grilled meats and vegetarian options, all served up with freshly baked bread made on site.
