Naomi Campbell has teamed up with Diesel to help vulnerable children

Legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell has teamed up with Diesel in a charitable campaign that supports her fashion for relief initiative, Child at Heart.

The collaboration will help some of the world’s most vulnerable children, and features heart warming designs drawn by the children that attend the Diesel HQ kindergarten.

T-shirts and hoodies are graced with the drawings of hearts made up of colourful rainbow lines and charming ladybirds, that epitomize the collection’s name. All of the proceeds will be donated to Fashion for Relief, Campbell’s charity which serves to help vulnerable children globally. Since the charity’s creation in 2005, it has already raised over £4.5 million.

Campbell said, “This amazing and special project will provide much-needed aid and support for refugee children.”  She also explained why the campaign is so crucial, adding, “Fashion for Relief works in emergency situations in conjunction with other charities on the ground”.

Alongside the clothing, a campaign was shot by photographer Giampaolo Sgura, of course featuring the legendary supermodel herself, along with models such as Molly Blair, Riley Montana, Wan Cheng Ming, and Diesel’s artistic director, Alexander Formichetti, who all posed for free in support.

The campaign is said to be part of a wider mission, known as the OTB foundation, created by Diesel’s owner, Renzo Rosso in 2008, which aims to rebalance social inequality.

The publicity for the campaign didn’t stop there. Campbell attended the charity’s launch party this week showcasing a Child at Heart t-shirt beneath a chic but dressed down leather jacket and jeans. The model beamed as she signed tees for fans and didn’t fail to disappoint when it came to her signature individual style as she rocked some daring geometric rings.

The co-branded Fashion for Relief x Diesel collection will be available online and in Diesel stores.
