Take a step back in time with Cloth Ears to find your home the perfect accessory

Take a step back in time with Cloth Ears to find your home the perfect accessory

Here at The Upcoming, we are getting a little bored of this vintage floral trend that seems to be hitting the homeware section of every store on the high street. Well, it seems that we might have found something that might be a little more up your street.

Cloth Ears is a Kent-based brand that has managed to find the perfect balance of vintage nostalgia. After wanting to fill her home with adorable accessories with that wonderful “home sweet home” feeling, Julie, the founder of our delightful find, started to make her own personal pieces. From this moment on, there was no looking back for Julie and her sewing machine. Compliments from friends and family on her crafts soon became commissioned work for Julie; this encouraged her to take it a little further.

What started out as a part-time project in 2007, creating her own pieces from vintage fabrics for her home, soon became a full-time career. Taking ideas from the pieces she would like in her own home and of course, keeping the price of her products reasonable, Julie has managed to create a vintage wonderland full of everything we would ever want in our homes.

Now working with a team of crafty creatives, Julie has produced a little piece of heaven for your home. We absolutely adore the vintage doily bunting at an amazing £6.99, perfect to co-ordinate with the Everything Stops for Tea framed wall art for £14.29 and the With Love birdcage cup and saucer set for £12.99.

The future for Cloth Ears has a new website in store along with new illustrations and designs for their label. We can say nothing but good things about this dreamy find and are equally as excited to see the new online store in autumn. Find your house an adorable vintage piece here.
