ChiChiDee’s cute and colourful collars
Having fallen head over heels for the Peter Pan collar over the past year or so we are always on the lookout for alternative and original adaptations of our favourite accessory.
We then stumbled across ChiChiDee, an independent accessory label created by Leanne Garrity.
Leanne is a self-taught designer and everything in her Etsy shop is handmade. She believes in making things personal through hand-crafting, and every piece she creates has a story behind it. Leanne is a firm believer in traditional sewing and crochet skills and recycles or up-cycles textiles and other bits and bobs, so nothing is left to waste. It’s great to find a label that is so fresh and on trend and hasn’t been manufactured. Not one teeny bit.
ChiChiDee’s collars are detachable therefore leaving the styling up to us, but with an already given quirky edge. Here are some of our favourites from the collection:

Very sweet and playful this nautical collar is teamed with a vintage navy blue button. Could be put over a white shirt or blouse any time of day!

Autumnal and made from recycled retro fabric, this yellow collar would go well with a vintage dress and up-do.

On trend with animal print, this collar could be used to liven up an evening outfit. Leopard print is usually great twinned with anything black and will never look dull.

The Upcoming love this pretty and girly crochet-trim collar. Perfect for summer and could be incorporated into any outfit for an extra feminine touch.
