Warner Bros announces Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga UK release date for May 2024

In a move set to thrill fans of the post-apocalyptic genre, Warner Bros Pictures has announced the release date for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, slated to hit UK cinemas on 24^th May 2024. Directed by the Academy Award-winning George Miller, the film promises to be a compelling addition to the iconic Mad Max universe, offering a glimpse into the origins of Furiosa, a character that captured audiences’ imaginations in Mad Max: Fury Road. Starring Anya Taylor-Joy in the title role, alongside Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke, this standalone action-adventure is expected to breathe new life into the dystopian world that Miller first introduced over three decades ago.

Furiosa delves into the backstory of its titular character, portrayed by Taylor-Joy, tracing her journey from being snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers to her struggles and survival amidst the chaos of a war-torn landscape.
