Taste of London 2024: Summer begins at Regent’s Park with a great lineup of restaurants and chefs
As summer arrives, London’s Regent’s Park is set to host the annual Taste Festival, a celebration of culinary delights, live entertainment and interactive experiences. This year’s festival promises a diverse lineup of activities, from masterclasses and chef demonstrations to unique dining experiences and live music. With tickets now on sale, organisers are urging food enthusiasts to secure their spots as sessions are filling up quickly.
The festival, known for its vibrant atmosphere and eclectic mix of food, drink, and entertainment, will feature over 20 stalls as well as the Uber Eats Daily Specials – a showcase of nine restaurants offering their signature dishes for a limited time. Among the highlights are Le Bab’s posh kebabs and EggSlut’s inventive egg dishes, with the full lineup to be announced shortly.
For those looking to enhance their culinary skills, the Cook School with Lee Kum Kee is a must-visit. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from top industry professionals, including April Jackson, Rahel Stephanie, Thuy Diem Pham and Andrew Wong of two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Pimlico. Meanwhile, The Fire Pit will see chefs like Andy Beynon of Michelin-starred Behind and Spanish master Dani Garcia of Bibo Shoreditch.
Barbecue enthusiasts can look forward to the BBQ Cook School, offering sessions on mastering the grill with experts such as Karan Gokani of Hoppers and Josh Katz of Berber & Q. Additionally, the festival will provide a platform for live entertainment, with music and DJs set to create a lively atmosphere for dancing and enjoyment.
Disney+ Experience: The Bear will offer fans of the show a chance to taste dishes inspired by the series, cooked by Mob’s talented chefs. Furthermore, the festival will feature a Taste of Saudi Culture stand, inviting visitors to explore Saudi traditions and flavours.
An eco-conscious addition to this year’s event is the Who Gives a Crap Bum Powered Change tuk-tuk, promoting sustainable toilet paper solutions. Finally, as part of the festival’s effort to cater to all tastes, the official 2024 Festival Map is already available, allowing attendees to plan their visit, including discovering restaurants, finding amenities, and exploring menus.
