Underbelly Boulevard Soho announces Fringe Fix programme for post-Edinburgh season

This summer, Underbelly Boulevard Soho is set to bring the spirit of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to central London with the launch of Fringe Fix, a curated season of standout shows running from 31st August to 27th September 2025. The programme promises an eclectic mix of comedy, cabaret, theatre, improv and musical performance, handpicked to capture the energy and eccentricity of the world’s biggest arts festival – without the need to leave the city.

Fringe Fix offers London audiences a rare opportunity to experience some of the most talked-about acts from this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, from surreal sci-fi puppet theatre and personal storytelling to award-winning stand-up and genre-bending cabaret. Among the highlights is Space Hippo, a cinematic shadow-puppetry adventure from Japan told using over 200 handmade puppets, which launches the season on 31st August. Also featured is Nobody Cares, a one-woman comedy show by Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, which comes to Soho for two performances only on 2nd September following a critically acclaimed New York run.

Actor and writer Joe Tracini will present his deeply personal and darkly humorous solo show Ten Things I Hate About Me, opening up about living with borderline personality disorder. Jamie MacDonald, fresh from Live at the Apollo, brings Toxic Bastard, a searingly funny look at the everyday absurdities of life as a blind man. The lineup also includes New Zealand comic Guy Williams, whose provocatively titled new show tackles the political madness of 2025 with unfiltered wit.

From talking chickens facing existential crises and drag-infused deep cleans to wine-fuelled comedy tastings and mystery wildcard performances chosen live from the Fringe itself, the programme is a celebration of what the Edinburgh Festival Fringe does best: unearthing daring, diverse and unpredictable talent. There’s even something for younger audiences, with Fringe favourite Louis Pearl, aka The Amazing Bubble Man, performing family shows that promise bubble volcanoes and wide-eyed wonder.

Fringe Fix is more than a showcase – it’s a post-Fringe party for London, bringing together some of the most original and exciting voices in contemporary performance. With ticket bundles offering savings for those booking multiple shows, the season invites audiences to immerse themselves in an entire month of bold entertainment in the heart of Soho.
