Cafe Linea and Alice + Olivia debut limited-edition dessert collaboration inspired by Shakespearean fashion

A new collaboration between London eatery Cafe Linea and American fashion label Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet has brought a theatrical twist to the patisserie scene in Chelsea. The partnership, which launched this week at Cafe Linea’s Duke of York Square location, features a limited-edition dessert menu inspired by Alice + Olivia’s Autumn 2025 fashion collection, Shakespeare Is in Love.

The fashion line, described by the brand as a reinterpretation of Shakespearean themes through bold prints and whimsical designs, has influenced both the décor and the culinary offerings at the café. The occasion sees the venue temporarily transformed to reflect the theatrical motifs of the collection, and there is a themed menu on offer. Among special items available are two new desserts: a Shakespeare Is in Love Battenberg cake, featuring the fashion label’s seasonal print, and The Stace Mini, a smaller version of the café’s signature showstopper dessert.

In addition to Cafe Linea’s new look and food offering, the event includes a promotional tie-in with Alice + Olivia’s nearby boutique: customers who make a purchase at the store will receive a complimentary cake and an invitation for a drink at the café. The initiative marks a crossover between fashion and food – a growing trend in lifestyle branding that reflects a broader intention to create immersive customer experiences. The collaboration is scheduled to run till the end of October, though no official end date has been announced.
