Scott’s Richmond launches Alpine dining experience with live music on the Thames

Scott’s Richmond has launched a winter-themed dining experience titled Alpine Season at its riverside location in south-west London. The event, which began in earlier this month and runs until the end of December, offers guests a festive atmosphere with themed décor, live music and a specially curated menu in collaboration with Nyetimber and The Lakes Distillery. The outpost of the renowned Mayfair seafood restaurant has transformed its terrace and interior into an Alpine-inspired setting, decorated with evergreen garlands, fairy lights and ornaments to create what organisers describe as a “cosy hideaway” overlooking the River Thames.

As part of the seasonal programming, a live Motown trio will perform every Wednesday evening during dinner service throughout November and December. The entertainment is intended to enhance the festive ambiance for diners as they enjoy a winter selection that features a range of special dishes and drinks. The themed cocktail list includes creations such as the Nutcracker Highball (The Lakes Classic gin, Campari, cherry, Nyetimber Classic Cuvée and Fever Tree Grape & Apricot Soda) and the Christmapolitan (The Lakes vodka, Grand Marnier, cranberry, rosemary, cinnamon and lime), each priced at £15. A set menu is also available from 10th November (£36 for two courses or £42 for three), offering a Pork, Partridge and Pistachio Terrine and a Prawn and Avocado Cocktail with Marie Rose sauce to start. Main courses feature Fillet of Cod with bouillabaisse sauce or Roast Devonshire Chicken with stuffing and cranberry jus, and desserts include sticky toffee pudding with Drambuie ice cream and a Mince Pie Ice Cream Coupe. Guests can also opt for a Nyetimber Classic Cuvée aperitif for an additional £20.

Opened in 2022, Scott’s Richmond is the sister restaurant of the original in Mayfair, with a menu, overseen by head chef Tom Fraser, that focuses on seafood and British seasonal produce. The suburban site features two floors, including an oyster bar and a dining room designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. Holiday opening hours include a half-day service on 24th December (noon till 5pm), with the restaurant closed on the 25th and 26th.
