Dorian reopens Notting Hill terrace with new summer cocktail menu and walk-in refreshment

Michelin-starred restaurant Dorian, in Notting Hill, has reopened its outdoor terrace for the summer season and launched a new cocktail menu developed in partnership with Goya Tequila. The west London venue, which first introduced the alfresco space last summer, is offering walk-in guests the chance to order drinks, snacks and desserts outside ahead of the warmer months.

The terrace operates on a first-come, first-served basis and accommodates up to 15 guests at a time. The format allows diners to sample the kitchen’s output without booking a table in the main restaurant, where reservations are typically in high demand. Food and drink options available outside include the Dorian Martini, rosti, steak tartare and a banana toffee pudding.

Located on Talbot Road, Dorian opened in 2022 and has built a reputation for bistro-style cooking. It was awarded a Michelin star in 2024 and has attracted a steady following among London diners as well as visitors from elsewhere in the UK and abroad.

The new cocktail list has been developed by bar manager Bertie Morris and Goya Tequila, and is intended to be served on the terrace alongside small plates from the kitchen. Alongside the signature martini, there are libations such as a Frozen Melon Margarita, made with tequila, fino sherry and seasonal melon, a Strawberry Tomato Highball, combining Gariguette strawberry, tomato and rooibos, and the Toreador, which mixes tequila with sweet Riesling, apricot and loquat.

Morris’s approach focuses on seasonal produce and close collaboration with the kitchen’s suppliers. According to the venue, the drinks aim to balance technical precision with a lighter character, drawing influence from 1960s Californian disco cocktails.

The terrace launch comes as London restaurants prepare for the summer, when outdoor seating tends to drive footfall. Dorian’s decision to maintain a walk-in policy for the outdoor space sets it apart from many of its Michelin-starred peers, where access is typically restricted to those holding advance reservations.
