Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness returns with explosive season three trailer

Paramount+ has released the first trailer for the third season of Lioness, with Zoe Saldaña returning for what promises to be the espionage thriller’s most personal mission yet.
Created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Landman, 1923), the new season premieres on 2nd August, continuing the story of CIA operative Joe (Saldaña) as she faces a threat that reaches far beyond the battlefield.
According to the official synopsis, hidden networks, foreign operatives and personal betrayals converge as Joe finds herself navigating increasingly blurred lines between her professional responsibilities and her family life. Guided once again by Kaitlyn (Nicole Kidman) and Westfield (Michael Kelly), she must confront enemies operating from the shadows as the Lioness programme faces its most dangerous assignment to date.
Alongside Saldaña, the returning cast includes Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, Genesis Rodriguez and James Jordan.
The newly released trailer offers a first look at the season’s globe-trotting action, with Sheridan once again combining high-stakes espionage, political intrigue and character-driven drama as the conflict closes in on Joe from all sides.
