This week, The Upcoming met with the charismatic Chase PR. As I stepped into their lower ground floor offices, promoting the drowned rat look – we are all aware of the weather – I knew I had arrived at a place which was just too cool.

I was lucky enough to be shown some scrumptious fashion by the one and only Emily Marsh. Men’s shoes have certainly got a two tonal feel this season. Remember when it was uber fun to wear coloured laces? They are so back in!

The first range that I am going to give a big shout out to is clever Geox (see here) with their smart technology, making shoes light-weight and breathable. There is even a cute story behind the collection – that of a man getting hot in shoes in a vineyard. This year we see them stick to shiny patent with their ladies’ shoes and working with classic styles with their men’s.

With men’s shoes, there is a reoccurring tantastic theme. I want to make you aware of Sebago; as always, this season promotes excellent quality with innovation. We again see the two tonal within colours and materials at Sebago and a full embracement of American heritage. Look at the great combinations of leather and tweed here. They also have a great ladies range with lovely ribbon laces within classic leather shoes – another twist of the classics!

I now must share with you Red or Dead’s new collection of shoes. Think glitter, Union Jack influences and Vivienne Westwood, then you have Red or Dead! Check out their website for details and look at their blighty boots by clicking here.
