Tom Ford to spoil us all with his announcement of new flagship store in London in 2013
For those of us who love the Tom Ford concessions in Selfridges it has been wonderful to discover that the designer has announced plans to set up a flagship store in London.
However this will not be until 2013, so head back to Selfridges for now and wait impatiently for the store to open which is rumoured to be located on prestigious Sloane Street.
Tom Ford has been a hero in the fashion world as well as an inspiration to other designers. In the late nineties he saved Gucci from near ruin. His signature pieces include sexy cuts and sharp shapes perfect to demonstrate the beauty of the female body, and doesn’t he just know it.
The store will sell all his designs, including menswear that is currently sold in Selfridges. Tom Ford follows in the footsteps of Alberta Ferratti who also acquired a new store setting up 201-206 Sloane Street to be one of the most sought after, luxurious fashion destinations. Get us there now, it seems almost impossible to hover around until 2013 but the wait will be well worth it.
