Lazy Oaf announces Kickers collaboration

Lazy Oaf announces Kickers collaboration

Lazy Oaf, the East London brand that started its life as T-shirts on a market stall, and Kickers, the cult shoe brand that you may remember from your primary school days, have announced plans for a collaboration to be released in spring 2013.

The Lazy Oaf brand is famous for a pop-inspired streetwear aesthetic, focusing on illustrations. Previous collaborations and inspirations have included legendary shoe designer Jeffrey Campbell Beetlejuice and Batman. If their Jeffrey Campbell collaboration is anything to go by (glitter and animal prints) then the upcoming spring/summer 2013 collection will stand a good chance of getting us back into our playground favourites. Kickers in its turn has been the favourite of brit pop, garage and indie musicians alike and has been destined for long lasting popularity since launching in 1970.

The sneak previews of the collection include this glittery number, plus rumours of a style that is customisable with removable bows and fringing. Each style is a limited edition with only 500 pairs made, so it’s just as well we’re letting you know in good time.
