The country’s best and brightest were out in force last night to honour the troops at the fifth annual Sun MilitaryAwards. In attendance were such notables as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles, David Cameron and Ed Miliband. Also rubbing shoulders with the military heroes was a sky full of glittering stars with everyone from Frank Lampard and Kevin Spacey to Glee star Matthew Morrison and cyclist Mark Cavendish there to thank them. The Sun Military Awards have been presented every year since 2008 at the Imperial War Museum in Southwark. Royals, celebrities and dignitaries all turn out to pay homage to our armed forces in an evening of lavish celebration.
