Diptyque look to the heart of the Orient this Christmas

Diptyque look to the heart of the Orient this Christmas

Highly sought after brand Diptyque like to create a stir with each fragrance and this Christmas is no different, with Arabian Nights being their chosen theme. The design on the glass encasing of each candle is taken from Kilim rugs, made by artisans.

SAPIN candle

What do the scents evoke? The warmth and comfort of Iranian galbanum, Eucalyptus camphor and peppery Siberian pine; plus a splash of Moroccan absinthe contained in Sapin Dorée – AKA Golden Fir. The greens and gold colours of the glass create the atmosphere of walking through a cedar forest full of spruce trees.

OUD_AMBRE candle

Oud Ambré or Amber Oud takes its name from Oud wood as the main note of this fragrance. The orient essence is added by the scent combinations of: saffron, ginger, delicious nutmeg, cinnamon and black pepper, all to soothe the senses.

OLIBAN candle

Blue and gold colouring of the Oliban glass gives a night sky feel as frankincense and Italian lemon are followed by myrrh, Javan vetiver and Somalian incense. This cult classic has been brought back for the festive season and adds a mystical feel to the Arabian Nights story.

6.5oz Candle (£45) and 2.4oz Candle (£25). Available Space NK, Harrods and Diptyque stores by clicking here.
