Naftul: Fashion worth investing in

Most of us would say we have simple items in our wardrobes, such as a vest top, t-shirt or a pair of jeans. However, we tend to focus on the pieces that are bang on trend and not necessarily classic. At Naftul they make your staple pieces look just as good as some of your trendy items. Naftul maxi dress

Nataly Elian launched Naftul after she had been working for a big company in Los Angeles. She wanted to follow her heart and design items under her own label. She has travelled and explored the world, and has returned to her place of origin, Tel Aviv. Naftul black dress

The pieces that Nataly designs are pieces that could be worn season after season. Yes, the items are pricey but if it’s a piece you will wear for more than two seasons it is worth it, surely? This little black dress could be worn in the winter with a pair of heels and some funky tights. In the summer it is a great piece for a festival, worn with a pair of sandals. This army jacket is priced at £102, but as it can be worn in the summer and the autumn months it is definitely worth spending the money. It’s a classic shape as well, so you wouldn’t need to worry about it dating. Naftul army jacket

Some of these pieces wouldn’t look out of place in GAP. So what inspired such understated pieces?  “I get inspired and excited by clothes that I want to wear. I love to start with fabrics and really feel the material, see how they fall and the feelings I get from a fabric help me translate it into a garment.” Naftul whte blouse

Naftul will make you look at your wardrobe and question whether you need so much disposable fashion. You may even think you need to invest in pieces that are trans-seasonal. That can’t be a bad thing, can it?
