LFW – Charlene Edwards and Kayleigh MacBeth showcase at Fashions Finest
On Saturday 16th February, Charlene Edwards and Kayleigh MacBeth showcased at the 5pm Fashions Finest show in one of the intimate rooms in the Westbury Hotel, Mayfair.
Kayleigh MacBeth is a small, independent fashion label, and her graduate collection has an extremely interesting concept behind it. We saw that the collection consists of six outfits from a character she had created called Alba who is half human-half robot living in the year of 2097, she was created for the purpose of humans; a typical household robot however a default in her programming enabled her to develop feelings. The government decided all the robots of her serial code must be destroyed. Alba fights for her existence or would you call it her life? Kayleigh wanted our generation of today to become aware of what the future might bring and to even question people to question who or what has a soul.
