For the first time within the fashion industry, Giorgio Armani has teamed up with the social video platform VideofyMe. This collaboration comes in order for the brand to develop its very own exclusive colour filter, which has been designed to recreate the atmosphere within its Frames of Life eyewear campaign. Users of the app are encouraged to create their own videos, which can be up to five minutes in length, using this filter to tell their stories. You can then share your video via social media using the #FRAMESOFYOU hash tag.

With the creativity and freedom that this allows, it is certain that the results of this collaboration are sure to be beautiful. The combination of ease of social video and sharing all makes for the perfect ability to create stunning videos, which can also be overlaid with music from the user’s iTunes library. As the first time that an international fashion house has moved into this area of social media, others within the industry are watching with a keen eye to see the results.

The best videos will be shared by Armani through their own social media accounts, as well as being showcased here.

Founder of VideofyMe, Robert Mellberg, said: “We’ve created a way for fashion bloggers to share their favourite summer moments with the same vibe and aesthetic as Giorgio Armani’s Frames of Life campaign. The campaign is targeted at top international fashion bloggers as well as fans of Giorgio Armani’s social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.”

As a new way to create and share your summer memories, we don’t see any reason to delay downloading the app and to start recording right away!
