What’s you fairytale wedding?

What’s you fairytale wedding?

Since we heard that Sean Parker (Napster Co-Founder and entrepreneur) spent a suspected ten million dollars on his Games of Throne themed wedding, we couldn’t help but delve further into this mysterious world of weird weddings. Because after all, there can never be too many versions of ‘Happily Ever After’… Can there?

Barbie theme

Who could forget Katie Price’s Barbie-themed marriage to Peter Andre? Most of us here at The Upcoming wish we could, which would be a bit easier if it weren’t for her most recent wedding theme… Willy Wonka. We’re just glad builder and part time stripper husband Kieran Hayler didn’t end up in a purple top hat…

Secret Superhero theme

Now this one is truly epic. The couple enjoyed a beautiful wedding with just a few subtle hints of superherodom. Nothing says best friends like all teaming together to become a super hero team at your buddy’s wedding! We highly approve.

Peter Pan theme

An interesting choice of theme… Sadly we reckon it could have been quite lovely, with a slightly more indulgent budget on the bride and groom’s get up. The lurid green man tights surely could have been avoided?

Harry Potter theme

As long as no spells are announced within the wedding vows, we can cope with this one. Just no cloaks and pointed hats please!

The Great Gatsby theme

If you must go down the themed route, then this is the one to go for! Elegant and fiercely classy, the 1920’s will never ever go out of style.

British Theme

How can we not be fans of this one? Bunting, scones, tea and roses.  Assuming you don’t get the typical British weather, it’s hard to go wrong with a good old-fashioned British country wedding.
