Meena Handbags is definitely a brand you should be keeping watch over right now. Meena Bhambra is the creator, and she specialises in making all kinds of bags, all a great example of good quality British craftsmanship. They’re 100% leather, handmade and are characterised by a chic pleated leather motif. They can be custom-made depending on what colour you’d like, so there’s a bespoke element there too. She says herself: “These hand-made British bags are full of elegance as the pleats hold something so unique…when I design each bag I am so focused by seeing my bags come to life, from the first point of sketching and thinking of what colours will work. This is a complete luxury brand and the thought process of each curve and look can take months of planning. I take pride in how beautiful the bags look at the end of each process.”Indian Princess

And now we’re going to take you carefully through each one. The Indian Princess is a chic little clutch perfect for a night out, and inspired by the shape of the moon. Definitely something we’d like to own!  Bow, a lot like the Indian Princess; this funny-shaped little clutch would look perfect with a killer LBD or perhaps some printed trousers with a cami. Lady Luck is the most versatile of bags; it will transform from a decent-sized clutch for the night to a not-too-small day bag with the aid of a handy chain. M, Meena’s personal fave, is the perfect day bag for shopping or even to take to the office. “Relaxed” is how Meena describes Uptown Girl. It’s a fresh take on the deep satchel, and combines colour-pop suede with understated and timeless brown leather.Lady Luck

They’re luxurious, well made, colourful yet unfussy and will go with most of your clothes – pretty much the perfect accessory.
