With the cold autumn weather right at our doorstep and winter approaching fast, who wouldn’t start thinking about wearing knitted jumpers, warm socks and puffy jackets?

And if you haven’t done your autumn wardrobe shopping yet, here is a key piece you should definitely not miss: the Armarda Jacket from the Nicholas Deakins AW13 collection.

The Armarda Jacket by Nicholas Deakins is a collaborative piece with The British Millerain Co, and is available on the brand’s website at the price of £100.

The jacket comes in khaki with Nicholas Deakins’ leather arm branding.

The colours of the Armarda Jacket were inspired by the North of England. This is what brings these truly British brands together, as both Nicholas Deakins and The British Millerain Co were founded in Yorkshire. This collaborative jacket is a real investment, as it combines excellent design with great quality.

The British Millerain Co has been perfecting its techniques to manufacture waxed cotton since 1880. Their high-performance textiles have not only been used for commercial purposes, but are also for military and medical applications.

In this unique collaboration, great design and high quality created a piece that is both weatherproof and comfortable to wear. The Armarda Jacket continues to tighten the bond between the two brands after an earlier collaboration for the Familia Jacket from the Nicholas Deakins spring/summer collection.
