Black Score proves to be unexpected hit at LFW

London Fashion Week always produces at least one unexpected trend that no one saw coming but that goes on to be a massive part of the next season and this month’s LFW was certainly no different.

Black Score has proved to be this year’s unexpected hit and the brand has just released the official images of the exclusive LFW t-shirts and balaclavas that were produced especially for the occasion, and advertised in impromptu shows during the fashion week.

The new Black Score t-shirts and balaclavas were spotted on fashion icons such as Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Georgia May Jagger, and have quickly topped the wish lists of every fashion editor and blogger despite the fact that the shirts were never produced with a view to being sold.

The six exclusive shirt designs were specially produced for this year’s LFW and centred around iconic magazine covers with the models having been edited to make it look like they’ve gone “rogue”. They were showcased throughout the fashion week’s weekend in several improvised catwalk shows in and around the courtyard of Somerset House.

A series of models and industry insiders were gifted with the exclusive shirts including Brix Smith Start and Daisy Lowe, and although they weren’t originally intended to go on sale, their LFW success has seen the announcement that versions of the t-shirts will be available to buy in the future, much to the relief of fashion fans everywhere.

Black Score’s t-shirts look set to sell out within hours of hitting the shelves, and whether the balaclavas prove to be as popular in day-to-day life as they were over LFW remains to be seen. One thing’s for sure and that’s that the brand’s out-of-the-box advertising has them destined for great things.
