In August we saw the launch of The Collective Boutique. The boutique has the latest must-have jewellery and accessories that we need to invest in. The Collective launched with eight designers, including Buba, Dark Horse Ornament, Jennifer Loiselle, John & Pearl, Nicola Brighton, Rocklove Jewelry, Rosita Bonita and Sabina Savage.

Slices London is the latest label that will be sold by The Collective. The label was founded in 2011 by Graz Darken, an Australian-born graphic designer and artist.

Slices’ scarves are beautiful, bold and ethereal – mixing antique, microscopic samples to reveal intriguing and abstract patterns for today’s fashion world. Graz is passionate about mixing fashion with the creative world in art, films and design; collaborations have included a film project featuring onr of The Independent’s 2011 Actresses to Watch, Ella Purnell, and a one-off custom made dress for Bjork, designed and styled by Katy England. Celebrity fans include Kate Moss who was recently pictured wearing the Eyelid scarf and Sophie Sumner, winner of America’s Next Top Models: Britain Invasion in January 2013, who features in their ad campaign.

The colours in the scarves are beautiful and you can really see how nature plays a big part in influencing the designs. There are beautiful shades of green in the Vintage Fly scarf and bold blues in the Coffee Bean scarf.

Initially, The Collective will be selling just the Eyelid scarf for £180. However, it’s inevitable that we will see even more exciting designs to come from Slices London, as well as new designers that will be appearing at The Collective.
