Be fashionably scary this Halloween in Charlotte Olympia’s spooky designs

Be fashionably scary this Halloween in Charlotte Olympia’s spooky designs

Trick or treat this Halloween becomes treat and treat thanks to Charlotte Olympia’s limited-edition collection. The footwear and accessories designer, who is famous for adding humour to her designs, hasn’t disappointed with her latest capsule collection of shoes and bags made specially for the spooky season.

The tongue-in-cheek designs are every bit as luxurious as Olympia’s other collection, and so perfect for fashion-conscious costume wearers. Olympia’s Halloween includes a perspex box-clutch bag with gold bat stencils, sleek black satin sandals with a glow-in-the-dark bone and the brand’s signature kitty slippers with added vampire fangs – not your average black cat.

“I like to have a sense of humour in my work and that manifests itself in the Bite Me Kitty flats and Boo pumpkin-face clutch bag,” explains Olympia.

The sinister looking pumpkin face with fluttering lashes on Boo! the pumpkin-shaped suede clutch, also decorates the toe of vivid orange suede slippers.

Bats and vampires are a favourite theme in the collection. Why not match your vampire bat-shaped clutch with platforms sporting glimmering gold bat silhouettes in rich purple suede, complete with sparkling red crystal eyes. Or beware of shoes that bite in the night with the blood thirsty Vampira pumps, whose blood red colour contrasts against the ivory white fangs which poke out over your toes. Style them with a black box clutch with matching design and an added touch of sparkle in the Swarovski crystal drip of blood.

This Halloween you don’t have to choose between scary or comical in your costume. Get both with Charlotte Olympia’s frightfully fashionable designs – it’s a shame Halloween is just one night!

The collection is available exclusively in Charlotte Olympia stores, at the brand’s online shop here and at net-a-porter.com.
