Italian luxury label Giorgio Armani held a press day showing its latest S/S 2014 collections of men’s wear, women’s wear, Armani Junior and Armani Baby on 5th November.

Armani1Unlike the brand’s previous designs, the S/S 2014 collection goes against all conformity and breaks the boundaries of minimalist colour and cuts.

Armani2The collection includes classic tailored suits and light summer dresses in fresh summery colours. The season’s ladies’ wear collection features silky materials, and layered fabrics, which create a vision-like appearance playing with shadow and light. All garments represents natural, fairy-like beauty and a feminine silhouette.

Armani3The elegantly embroidered floral print evening dresses can be combined with block colour accessories and shoes that leave the feet uncovered.

Armani4The key motif of the Emporio Armani collection is the water lily. The flower that symbolises purity can be found on accessories such as handbags, necklaces and sandals as well as evening dresses. Combined with tropical prints and colours, the Emporio Armani women’s S/S 2014 collection represents happiness and joy, a true celebration of life.

The S/S 2014 Emporio Armani men’s wear collection mostly features light-weight shirts and jackets made of fine materials. In the collection, buttons were replaced by zippers and press-studs, to give the pieces a more relaxed look. Colours, similar to the women’s collection, are fresh, shades of white, teal green and beige.
