The Medwinds project

The Medwinds project

Far away from the glitzy department store windows and the glamorous catwalks, in the heart of the Mediterranean you will find something naturally beautiful: it’s called Medwinds.

Medwinds is a project started in Barcelona, the heart of Spain, and has made its long way to London. The brand produces its own women’s wear, men’s wear, shoes, handbags and accessories collections, and collaborates with young talented artists around the world.

Medwinds is not purely about products. It’s about the soul of the garments and the lifestyle that creates the story of each piece. The website offers a glimpse into the life of artisans in the Mediterranean area creating wonderful handmade items made from 100% natural materials. Promoting the Mediterranean culture, all bags, rugs, glasses, knives and pots are made using traditional methods. These truly beautiful creations can be purchased from the Medwinds “HandMed” section.

The Medwinds autumn/winter 2013 collection creates the feeling of an autumn weekend by the sea. The women’s collection features subtle floral prints, matched with nature’s colours: burgundy, navy, olive and brown. The men’s wear range has versatile jackets, coats and blazers in hues that are equally easy on the eye.
