Say hello to our future style icons

Say hello to our future style icons

Every day a new celebrity is born and so is a style icon, and is it just us or do they get younger and younger every year? While the likes of Alexa Chung, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Cheryl Cole have caught the eye of many fashion lovers worldwide, there is a new breed of style icons that are taking over. With every catwalk show, photo shoot, cover spread and red carpet event, these beautiful ladies are making a name for themselves in the fashion industry, one stiletto at a time.

Kendall Jenner

This young beauty is a model in the making. And with a tall, slender figure like hers, it feels like it was a job she was born to do. Her style is effortless and often consists of leggings and denim shorts with oversized tops. However, it is the unique way she wears these clothes that we love. She pulls off the “model off duty” look excellently.

Kylie Jenner

Everyone has their favourite Kardashian or Jenner. Even though there are so many to choose from, Kylie is the one we’re really excited about. She definitely has the cool, young, Hollywood look going on and is certainly becoming quite a little fashionista in her own right. Her look is new Hollywood, but while many feel she (and her sister, Kendall) are growing up too fast, she still always knows how to have fun and experiment with her stylish frocks no matter what. Overall, Kylie is definitely one of our fashion crushes and certainly one of the next big style icons to watch.

Miley Cyrus

Some say slutty, others say brave. Whatever you think, no one can deny that she has captivated our attention with her style and actions. With a body and style like hers, she has definitely got everyone talking. But honestly the biggest reason why she’s one of our future style icons is because she’s fearless and doesn’t care what anyone thinks. And isn’t that what style is all about, being who you are and wearing what you want, no matter what? Besides, with a body like that, she looks good in anything.

Solange Knowles

Honestly we think we’ve saved the best for last. If you haven’t seen this girl’s style yet, then where have you been? Her look is extremely colourful and her style is so full of life. From her red carpet looks and Instagram pictures, we can tell that Solange (Solo to some) loves prints, patterns and all things bright and colourful. Definitely a summer girl; her look is a modernised version of the 1960s and 1970s combined, and she pulls both decades off perfectly. When asked about her summer style, Solange simply said: “It’s always summer somewhere.”

So the next time you flick through your favourite magazine or visit that addictive celeb blog, watch out for these girls because as future style icons, they’re going to be everywhere.
