Who doesn’t love festival season? With the summer fast approaching and the Glastonbury line-up being announced last week, we can’t help but think we need to start organising our wardrobes. In a quest to reinvent the festival look, we went on a hunt for the must-haves for this season and we stumbled across Band of Gypsies. At The Upcoming, it is one of the best things we have ever done.bandofgypsies2 (2)

Band of Gypsies is a clothing brand that is the perfect definition of boho style. Taking inspiration from an idea of “carefree spirit” and the ideology behind a hippie lifestyle, the brand has encompassed art, music and global travel into its pieces for the ultimate sunshine feel. Dip dye hair and midi rings galore, the pieces in the collection are perfect to bring your A/W 2013 accessories all the way though to next season.bandofgypsies2 (1)

Full of dungarees and playsuits covered in floral patterns, it’s hard not to imagine days away from a rainy London. We absolutely love the black and purple floral dungarees (£40), perfect for lounging around in the sunshine with daisy chain headbands and sandals. Also on our must-have list is the long kimono jacket in Aztec print (£36), the skater skirt in bright floral print (£28) and the lace cami crop top (£25).bandofgypsies3

It is clear that the fashion world is going to love Band of Gypsies, with the brand already been sold at Topshop and ASOS, so expect to see a lot of their delightful pieces in S/S 2014. There is also sister brand, Lottie & Holly, which also sells vintage style pieces that are simple adorable and are well worth checking out too.
