Lulu & Co was launched back in 2010 by Lulu Kennedy MBE to mark the 10th anniversary of Fashion East. Since then, the brand has expanded into a full line of its own and this year at London Fashion Week, Lulu & Co have been able to debut their fun and fabulous collection.

For spring/summer 2015, the collection has been inspired by two different individuals; fashion designer Louise Gray and jazz legend Sun Ra. A combination of their two positive and freethinking personalities has resulted in a bright and vibrant collection, which dabbles in memories of raves from the nineties.

The collection was presented in a black room where the models created their own colourful spotlight. Sat on a staged area, the models lounged round gracefully and wore bold prints, including an all over Moon Cactus and Sun Ra prints, which were clashed with bright bursts of colour.

Lilacs and reds were teamed with blacks and whites for a new yet modern rave feel and allowed you to take a step back into an era of fun and frolics. The shape of the pieces were kept simple, and came with the idea of being able to wear the collection anywhere, as long as it involved having fun. High tops and heels were the shoes of choice and came in equally eye-catching patterns. Tinsel style hooped earrings topped the looks off, making Kennedy’s work for the new season truly unforgettable.
