Marc Abraham: An interview with the director of I Saw the Light

I Saw The Light is the biopic of Hank Williams, a country and western singer/songwriter recognised as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. We spoke to director Marc Abraham about how he focused on the human story behind Hank’s tragic tale. Abraham spotlights slices of the fast-paced life in which Hank managed to achieve so much, whilst exploring the complicated relationships that form between men and women. The narrative is supported by noteworthy performances from Tom Hiddleston as Hank Williams, and Elizabeth Olsen as his wife, Audrey.
