Given the climate crisis, it’s unsurprising that more people are upping their intake of plant-based products. But the good news for foodies is that thanks to hospitality’s increasing commitment to sustainability, Veganuary tastes better every year. More and more restaurants are creating flavoursome dishes that are perfect for flexitarians looking to add more vegetables to their diet, or for veteran vegans alike. Here are some of the best deals that can be delivered straight to your door for a night of stress-free, guilt-free indulgence.

The Athenian Plant-Based

The Athenian, known for its award-winning souvlaki and gyros, has embraced a plant-based menu that is packed full of vegan choices. Modelled on some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, the new range includes a large selection of signatures including the delicious souvlaki wrap – the “chicken” will definitely have you fooled and is almost indistinguishable from the real thing. There is also a selection of boxes including the vegan gyros box which comes complete with vegan halloumi, handmade pita, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and fries. And if you’re still hungry after that you can add one of their delicious sides such as the courgette fritters or tomato croquettes. With more than 20 vibrant dishes that incorporate plant-based ingredients and convincing meat substitutes, you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice this Veganuary! Their vegan delivery service The Athenian Plant-Based is widely available on Deliveroo.

The Dirty Vegan Ultimate Vegan Comfort Kit

Dirty Vegan, the sister to London’s favourite New York comfort food brand, Dirty Bones, have partnered with Beyond Meat®, Vida Bakery and Meda Cbd Drinks to create an exclusive, plant-based kit. The Ultimate Vegan Comfort kit is available for nationwide delivery for just £42. The Ultimate Veganuary kit feeds two and includes everything needed to make a Dirty Vegan spread, complete with burgers, fries, drinks and Cookie Tho ready-to-bake cookies. Order your kit online here.

Arros QD’s Vegetarian Kit

If it’s an authentic taste of Spain you’re looking for this January, then look no further than Arros QD. Created by multi-Michelin-starred Quique Dacosta, the restaurant is best known for their traditional wood-fired paellas, a dish you can create in your own kitchen thanks to their At Home Paella Kits. The Vegetarian Kit (£75) provides enough to make three paellas for two people and comes complete with instructions to replicate the vegetarian paella served in Arros QD. Order online for ideal lockdown cooking!

Norma’s Sicilian feasting box

The team at Sicilian hotspot, Norma, is delighted to announce the launch of their vegan at-home feasting box, the perfect antidote for Veganuary at home. Led by culinary director Ben Tish, it is the taste of warmer climes we’re longing for as the dark nights roll in, all suitable for vegans! The Sicilian feasting spread – feeding two and including a bottle of Puglian wine for only £75 – is delivered on Fridays, with orders taken online until the proceeding Tuesday at 5pm.

Itsu’s new meatless menu

Itsu is taking a ballsy approach to plant-based dishes this year and in partnership with Meatless Farm, have just launched its even more delicious meatless meatballs. The plant-based meatballs are 60% bigger and juicier than ever, because the bigger the better, right? The more ballsy meatballs are packed full of veggies and spices that give them a really meaty taste and texture, so that even the most hard-core meat fans will devour them. Order from Itsu’s vegan menu here.
