New Mediterranean restaurant Mour to bring all-day dining to Marylebone this June

A new Mediterranean-inspired restaurant called Mour will open on Seymour Street in Marylebone this June. Housed in a refurbished Georgian townhouse, the 60-seat venue aims to serve both local residents and city visitors, offering all-day dining in a setting that combines British heritage with Mediterranean influences. The space includes a 20-seat courtyard with a retractable roof, allowing it to operate throughout the year. Double-height ceilings feature across the impressive dining room, which is anchored by a bar with counter seating.

The menu will focus on seasonal British produce prepared with Mediterranean techniques and influences. Dishes are designed to be shared and will include freshly made pastas, responsibly sourced meats and fish, and seasonal vegetables. The drinks offering centres on martini-based cocktails and a wine list weighted towards Mediterranean producers. The restaurant will operate from morning through to late evening, catering to both daytime diners and evening guests.

Interiors have been designed by Marta Gaset Studio to combine elements of the building’s British architecture and style – including open fireplaces, libraries, tapestries and artefacts – with contemporary additions such as marble accents, clean lines and Tuscan-inspired touches in the courtyard area.

The project has personal significance for founder Saachi Sehgal, who grew up alongside his sister Sienna at The Leonard Hotel, which is located next door and run by their family. The restaurant’s name references its Seymour Street location while also reflecting the ethos behind the venture – “a place to celebrate ‘the more’ in life,” he said. “The longer lunches, the second bottle, the conversations that spill into the evening.”
