London’s largest food festival, Taste of London, is back for another stellar year, turning the city’s green oasis of Regent’s Park into a gastronomic paradise. From Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th June, food enthusiasts will gather to savour five delectable days of feasting, celebrating the capital’s vibrant culinary scene.

This year’s festival features a thrilling lineup of more than 120 mouth-watering dishes, crafted by some of the UK’s best chefs. From exclusive, never-before-tasted eats to delightful masterclasses, food demonstrations, and even live music, Taste of London promises an unforgettable food and drink journey.

The food

Food lovers, brace yourselves for the festival’s unique offering of flavours. From the esteemed kitchen of Harrods emerges the Dim Sum Terrace, a soon-to-open eatery from the team behind the luxury Chai Wu, promising an irresistible array of dim sum treats. Adding to the vibrant Asian cuisine at the festival is MasterChef winner Alex Webb, gracing Park Lane with his renowned culinary prowess.

For lovers of hearty Italian food, the Sicilian-inspired Norma is an unmissable stop. Boasting a traditional and aromatic menu, Norma brings a slice of Sicily to Regent’s Park. Meanwhile, the Big Mamma Group, fresh from their latest venture Jacuzzi in Kensington, will transport festival-goers to a rustic Italian piazza with their maximalist Trattorias.

Vegetarians and vegans aren’t left behind in this grand feast. Islington’s vegan-Caribbean fusion, Jam Delish, will serve up plant-based delights with a tropical twist, catering to London’s growing appetite for wholesome, plant-forward cuisine.

As the anticipation for the festival grows, more recent announcements have added further depth to the festival’s impressive roster. The newly opened Portuguese-inspired hotspot JOIA, led by two-Michelin-starred Henrique Sa Pessoa, adds a touch of Iberian charm to the festival. Sa Pessoa, a heavyweight in the Portuguese culinary scene, will not only serve up his signature dishes but also conduct masterclasses at the Flames of Portugal Churrasco Cook School.

Joining Sa Pessoa at the centre stage of The Fire Pit will be BAFTA-winning TV chef and rapper Big Zuu. Known for his charismatic approach to food and music, Big Zuu promises an energetic demonstration of flame-licked barbecue techniques, no doubt a highlight for any barbecue enthusiast.

Festival-goers can also look forward to an eclectic line-up of rotating restaurants, part of Taste of London’s Daily Specials. Each day promises a unique dining experience, from the vegan Caribbean specialists Likkle Dutch Pot to the handmade doughnuts and patisserie from Longboys. For a taste of East Asia, guests can enjoy ramen from Bone Daddies and Korean flavours from Seoul Bird, while Issho-Ni will be serving up Izakaya-style Japanese cuisine.

For the full five days of feasting, culinary stars such as Big Mamma Group, Cavita, Francesco Mazzei, and Hoppers will be showcasing their most loved dishes. Newer additions include modern smokehouse HotBox, top-rated steakhouse STK, and Italian favourite Maccelaio. Also returning to Taste is London’ Chinatown’s Dumpling’s Legend, and Angelina’s unique combination of Japanese and Italian flavours.

Taste of London continues its mission to promote diversity in the culinary world by partnering with Be Inclusive Hospitality, ensuring representation of black-owned restaurants and businesses. This collaboration allows for a celebration of culinary creations from an even wider cultural spectrum, ensuring the festival remains a melting pot of flavours, cultures, and food stories.

The booze

All that feasting calls for an equally impressive lineup of beverages. This year, the drinks are as diverse as they are delectable. Get transported to a Mediterranean piazza by Sanpellegrino’s brand-new cocktail bar, or embrace the Italian “Dolce Vita” with Grana Padano PDO cheese and Prosecco DOC. You can also indulge in refreshing tequila cocktails from el Jimador Tequila or enjoy a classic G&T from Schweppes’ Cocktail Bar. For a truly unique experience, the Mirabeau Beach Bar is offering a taste of the French Riviera with award-winning rosé wines. And if non-alcoholic delights are more your speed, TV personality Spencer Matthews’ CleanCo VW camper van will be mixing up enticing non-alcoholic cocktails.

The tickets

Tickets for the capital’s culinary celebration are now on sale, starting from £24 per person. Alongside access to the city’s hottest restaurants and exclusive culinary experiences, festival-goers can level up their Taste experience with access to the revamped VIP Lounge. VIP guests will be treated to intimate masterclasses, tasting sessions with top artisan producers, exclusive live music and DJ sets, and garden games.

The festival promises more than just an extraordinary array of food and drink. It’s a celebration of London’s multicultural food scene, a gathering of like-minded gourmands, and a testament to the city’s resilience and undying love for good food.

The festival is open from 17:30-21:30 on the opening day and offers two sessions from 12:00-16:00 and 17:30-21:30 on 15th, 16th and 17th June. The closing day opens at 12:00 and concludes at 17:00.
