Feeder embarks on musical pilgrimage with Black / Red double album release

British rock band Feeder is set to release a bold new double album titled Black / Red on 5th April 2024, following the success of their UK top five album Torpedo from 2022. The forthcoming collection promises to deliver an air of optimism, freedom and possibility, continuing the narrative established by Torpedo while marking an end to a prolific songwriting chapter for the group. Grant Nicholas, the band’s lead singer, guitarist and principal songwriter, has described the album as a “musical pilgrimage” filled with themes of self-discovery and overcoming challenges, all wrapped in the classic Feeder sound of muscular riffs, expansive melodies and raw emotion.

The album’s leading double A-side singles, Playing with Fire and ELF, have already garnered significant airplay, receiving support from major radio stations including Radio X, BBC Radio 2, Kerrang! Radio, and Absolute Radio. These tracks embody the anthemic qualities that Feeder fans have come to expect, bursting with riffs and heartfelt sentiment.

Black / Red represents Feeder’s first foray into the double album format, a venture that allowed the band to showcase the breadth and evolution of their music over the decades. According to Nicholas, the album is a cohesive and connected work, rather than a concept album, and it encapsulates a specific moment in time for Feeder.

In anticipation of the album’s release, Feeder will be embarking on a tour in March, introducing their renowned live show to audiences across the UK.
