The cinematic landscape is set to be redefined once again with the release of the teaser trailer and first images of Kinds of Kindness, the latest film by the critically acclaimed director Yorgos Lanthimos. The film, which will premiere in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 28th June 2024 stars Academy Award winner Emma Stone, alongside Academy Award nominees Jesse Plemons and Willem Dafoe. This trio of celebrated actors bring to life a triptych fable that weaves together the lives of three distinct characters: a man striving for autonomy, a policeman unsettled by his wife’s mysterious return from being missing at sea, and a woman on a quest to find a destined spiritual leader.

Kinds of Kindness is presented by Searchlight Pictures and marks the fourth collaboration between Yorgos Lanthimos and screenwriter Efthimis Filippou, following their success with The LobsterThe Killing Of A Sacred Deer, and Dogtooth. Produced by Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Kasia Malipan and Lanthimos himself, the film promises to be a compelling narrative exploration of human nature and destiny.

The movie’s exploration of themes such as autonomy, transformation and destiny, combined with Lanthimos’s visionary direction and a compelling screenplay, positions it as a must-watch cinematic event of 2024. Catch a glimpse of what’s to come in the trailer below.
