The Italian Greyhound celebrates 10 years in Marylebone with special menu and anniversary offers

Modern Italian restaurant The Italian Greyhound, in Marylebone, is marking its 10-year anniversary this autumn with a series of limited-time offerings and new menu additions. Originally opened in 2015 under the name Bernardi’s, the venue was rebranded as The Italian Greyhound in 2021. The restaurant has become a fixture in the local dining scene, known for its contemporary Italian cuisine and neighbourhood appeal.

Founded by Ankur Wishart and Barry Hirst, co-founders of Open House Group, the restaurant has aimed to blend the casual charm of a local trattoria with the sophistication of modern London dining. Reflecting on the milestone, co-founder Ankur Wishart said: “Reaching ten years is a milestone we are incredibly proud of. We opened with the dream of creating a neighbourhood spot where people could gather over great food, great drinks and feel part of something special. We’re very grateful to the community who have embraced and supported us over the last decade and are humbled that we have the opportunity to still be here going strong.”

To commemorate the anniversary, The Italian Greyhound is offering a number of promotions: until the 10th of October, diners can access a Pasta & Wine for £10 offer, which includes a dish of Zucchini Fettucine with Stracciatella and Pistachio, paired with a 125ml glass of house wine. The offer is available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 5pm and can be redeemed by quoting TIG10 when booking.

Other celebratory additions include complimentary limoncello shots for lunch and dinner guests and dog-friendly biscuits available in partnership with pet brand Love My Human. The biscuits will be offered throughout October to customers who follow the restaurant’s Instagram account, @greyhoundmarylebone, while supplies last.

The restaurant’s kitchen has also introduced several new dishes to mark the occasion. Highlights include a whole Lobster Risotto with Calabrian ’nduja, Cacio e Pepe Ravioli with black truffle, and Lamb served with Caponata and Balsamic Vinegar.
