Bryan Adams brings the sunshine with new festive track California Christmas

Bryan Adams is embracing a sunnier side of the season with California Christmas, a new holiday single that’s quickly made its mark on both sides of the Atlantic. The upbeat track, released last month, has already hit number one on Canada’s Radio Holiday Chart and was recently named Record of the Week on both BBC Radio 2 and Virgin Radio in the UK.

Featuring an all-star lineup including Alessia Cara, Barenaked Ladies, Alan Doyle and The Sheepdogs, the track was recorded live at Vancouver’s Warehouse Studio. The result is a warm, playful take on holiday cheer with plenty of charm and camaraderie.

The single is part of Bryan Adams & Friends: A Great Big Holiday Jam, a 13-track Christmas album recorded for a Canadian TV special that aired earlier this month. The album blends festive classics like Little Saint Nick, Jingle Bell Rock, and Deck the Halls with original songs, including California Christmas and Santa Man. A video for O Christmas Tree, which closes the record with a simple, stripped-back piano version featuring Adams and longtime collaborator Gary Breit, is also out now.

The new release follows Adams’ sold-out UK arena tour and comes ahead of a busy 2026, with the singer set to tour across Asia, the Americas and South Africa.
